Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- As per the Production Plan, lead the production activities to fulfill the customer requirements.
- Ensuring availability of man and material.
- Planning of all shifts for production.
- Review of Dispatches.
- Necessary follow-up for rubber sheets material with Purchase.
- Lead production process activities.
- Ensuring the products comply with the standard at every stage of production.
- Verifying section-wise process parameters and to ensure all parameters are as per job cards.
- Suggesting Improvement in production and Reduction in wastage.
- Ensure delivery of products as per customer’s requirement with standard specification.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions on internal customer complaints, quality problems and any other issues.
- Co-ordinating with internal department like Maintenance, QA, R&D, Stores, Sales and Purchase.
- Preparation of various MIS as regards to productivity, quality, and performance.
- To ensure all production equipment is maintained and services appropriately.
- Re-allocating tasks whenever needed to achieve deadlines.
- Inventory Management.
- Ensure system entries and month closing on time
- Organizing Non Conformity review and action plan.
- Ensuring manpower available for the production.
- Daily & monthly manpower planning and shift scheduling.
- Maintain cordial relations with Union
- To impart the training on technical functions and QMS Awareness.
- To identify the training needs of subordinates.
- To assess the need of the employees.
- Ensure proper training of operators.
- Ensure on the job training of operators.
- Monitoring performance effectiveness of operators.
- Provide the production support for new developments.
- Provide the support for installation of new equipment’s.
- Cost Analysis / benefits on the new projects.
- Recommending new projects, activities, automation to improve productivity, cost reduction drive.
- Ensure the safety of Man, Machine and Materials.
- Train the operators for safety rules and regulations.
- Ensuring the zero accident level at all times.
- To lead implementation of QMS in the dept.
- To train the employees towards the system, importance and compliance.
- Compliance on the part Quality Management System and conducting internal audit.
- UG: Diploma/Bachelor in Engineering
- PG: Post Graduation Not Required
