Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute design and development of planning, input, output, lab trial results, and process & product verification.
- Conducting lab trials and production trials to develop new product.
- Process improvements and stabilization.
- Routine follow-up for various matters related to R&D with Purchase, Ware House, Stores, Sales, and Production & Quality Assurance etc.
- Follow up with supplier for any new materials for NPD.
- Follow the guidelines given by the seniors from time to time to smooth working of the functions of department
- Knowledge of rubber industries processes, mainly compression and extrusion process.
- A willingness to build and maintain positive working relationships and to share information with others
- Conduct process trial for new product development
- Communication skill
- Ability to problem solving/ analytical skill
- Understanding the customers’ products expectations.
- To initiate the corrective actions immediately to set the product right - in case where applicable.
- To ensure the compliance of Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015) in the department.
- To fulfill the audit requirement as and when necessary.
- daily maintenance work to seniors.
- Housekeeping in maintenance area.
- Maintaining various logbooks of the electrical section.
- Improving the power factor.
- Updating various reports like downtime, energy consumption.
- Maintaining the inventory of critical electrical spares.
- Updating competitor’s product analysis records.
- All project documentation related with new product development.
- Preparation of trial order note/Job Card/ SOP related with new product development or any new product/ process improvements.
- Maintain R&D Procedures Manual
- Creating and updating new item code for the product and maintain its records.
- Can able to work in shift as and when require.
- To undertake any other job / assignment given by management from time to time
- UG: B.Sc. Chemistry, diploma/degree in rubber, Polymer science.
