Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Working on ideas as part of a team or developing design concepts for new products
- Ensure awareness in new developments in the field of R & D.
- Researching on new materials, processes and technology, which are out of current product & process preview.
- New material and compound development activity
- Study and update on global product compliance protocols and updates.
- Participate in improving the technical capacity for compounding
- Search on new raw material and alternate raw material from global market, Material testing, Conducting lab trials and production trials to develop new product.
- Carrying out the sample analysis of various related product material by using in-house and external lab facilities.
- Follow up with supplier for any new materials for R&D.
- Understanding the customers’ products expectations.
- To initiate the corrective actions immediately to set the product right - in case where applicable.
- To ensure the compliance of Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015) in the department.
- To fulfill the audit requirement as and when necessary.
- Updating competitor’s product analysis records.
- All project documentation related with new product development.
- Maintaining R&D Procedures Manual.
- Ensuring the availability of technical literature related to R&D processes, SDS, Product details like CAS No.
- Maintaining all sorts of records related approvals of various certification like Oekotex, Indian Standard etc.
- To prepare weekly and monthly report on various tests, trials conducted.
- To undertake any other job / assignment given by management from time to time
- UG : B.Tech.\B.Sc (Chemistry), Rubber, Polymer science.
- PG : M.Tech.\M.Sc (Chemistry), Rubber, Polymer science.
